Like David said, buy it at launch or do your hw, you can go 2 a video store day one and ask for the code if u rent it, if they have a policy for the code then wait 2 buy a game
later at a cheaper price Brand new. I just copped batman AC and got it for the reg price but I have a $30 gaming coupon I can use and will use on UC3, on top of that now I have money 2 cop the Future hunters club stuff and I still can trade in other Games (Like Oblivion and MVC3) for the Sequels and/or updates. Yall have 2 think a head when yall buy the games
and wait to the last min if possible, I couldve waited one month and Got infamous 2 the Collectors Ed at Gamestop for $70 Bucks thatz only ten dollars extra.
I just pre-ordered Infamous Festival of Blood for $7.99 with PS plus and its either $9.99 or $14.99. For yall people that dont have PS plus you are on one. You paying the same amount of money for Live and just getting access to features and now your going 2 pay more for features. I would rather pay a year round cost for games and Discounts I get 2 keep, Online Storage and such then just features. Mind you as soon as 360 Drops their prices I’ll be on it and I’ll use amazon for live. I’ve saved more money than I know what 2 do with this year on Games with Plus.

That’s ball naughtydog. Many games with a lot of content such as Dark Souls didn’t use online pass and did it sell? Yes it did. Batman Arkham Asylum had a lot of content and got GOTY without an online pass.

I think the whole PSN Pass thing and what EA is doing with online features, as well as tons of other publishers/developers do makes perfect sense. Used game sales = no profit for them, which sucks. Games that I am truly excited about, I buy at launch. Therefore, this does not upset me. If you are buying it used, then do your homework ahead of time.

One feature I wish they would introduce is a rental period/system. For people that are not sure if they want the game, and multiplayer is the deciding factor, if they rent/borrow the game from someone, forcing them to pay extra money is a little unfair.

All that “we have to pay for servers” is a bad excuse. We aren’t talking about pirating games. That does increase the load on servers. Uncharted 3 is not copied and played on PS3s that often, if at all. Only one disk can play at a time no matter how many times it’s resold. So, you still have the same number of users that decreases over time.
