I'm still amazed how much better people actually look in Skyrim. Women seem to actually look good, & men actually look cool. I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks it was very hard to make an actual cool/bad-ass looking guy in Oblivion? Or make a sexy woman/elf to play as? Personally, I think the Khajiit were the coolest looking in the game. And yes I am aware that they have mods for Pc, & so some characters on Pc can actually look good...I have the Xbox 360 version, so it can take about an hour just to create a sort of normal looking character, & when I say "normal", I mean "normal". lol

Exactly. Not sure about anyone else here, but I hope these new features & additions help shape the new Fallout game as well. I'd like to see them improve upon that, making the combat & everything else better. I haven't played New Vegas yet, but I LOVE Fallout 3. I heard some bad things about New Vegas so I hesitated to rush out & buy it, & I still haven't gotten it with everything else coming out. I'll get it eventually, but yeah...Wow...lots of games between now &, well...all through 2012 really. Lol

I agree. Besides: if you are going to get excited about a game, it might as well be one of Bethesda's and especially an Elder Scrolls game. It's their baby; they wouldn't do anything to mess it up!

I was kind of hoping they'd do this after seeing all the other new additions. It would add a more lifelike & realistic factor to the game. I think they'll pull it off, & if so...If it's done right, it will be an awesome addition to an already bad-ass game. (Hopefully lol)

I'm pretty sure it will be more similar to Mass Effect/Dragon Age in terms of handling relationships. Hopefully not too much like those games though. I want it to fit with the Elder Scrolls style of play, as opposed to looking like something that Bethesda copied from Bioware.

I completely agree with your feelings on GTA IV relationships though. They were way too annoying.

As someone who has played Oblivion mods that add relationships and romances I am both a little excited and really worried. I like the idea as a tool for immersion and I think it will definitely add even more depth to a series that is already renowned for it. However I really hope they go in a different route than most moderns game in handling relationships. A lot of games make you do repetitive, boring and sometimes alright annoying quest to acquire and maintain friends or lovers.(I am looking at you GTA, “You could have changed your clothes”, “You never call!”, “Your car is crap.”, I might as well try to spend the hours getting real women). I would love to chill at my castle with my superhot fantasy wife, but like many real life men I want to be able to leave wife and the kids to their own devices while I go on a dragon slaying business trip with her hot, younger sister; without having to do a bazillion household chores when I get back . I hope Skyrim can oblige.
