In reply to Phatty216. the thing is though, even though u took the cc off the psn network, they still could of got the billing history of all the cards u used. that was one of my concerns too, Even if our cards were encripted, they still got a shot of getting those through our billing history when we bought stuff, reason i say this is because it was mentioned that they could of got not only our personal info but billing history and they are not rulling out c cards. lets hope this is not the case. LA Noire is coming out in 2 weeks, so I could wait 3 months really.
As long as I can redownload everything I bought off the store, then it’ll soon be like it never happened.
It’s good for gamers to rediscover SP, so I’m not too bothered this happened.

CC info was nothing to worry about either. No security key, no problem.
I took my CC off the PSN a long time ago anyways.

first, I am glad that they at least trying, its better then not trying. Im more concern about out personal data info in the near and later future, your Id can be sold and affects you 10 20 years down the line. anyways, I guess i was hoping for a little more on the conference, they said mostly the same thing we already knew. I would of liked as well as others a specific timing on psn coming back up. Just so everyone know, Im sticking with psn, psn fanboy all day everyday, I respect other gaming systems, but psn is where its at and where its always been for me, Hope to see yall online to whip on yall on sum black ops, Good luck psn users and have fun…………..

Hey there…might want to verify the first bullet there. If I heard correctly, those services will be provided for free for PSN users who previously had been purchasing those services….With that being said, unless these users receive a refund for the downtime of the PSN, they are only actually receiving two free weeks, because they paid for 2 weeks that they didn’t get to use the services….assuming the network is back online by tuesday…

In fairness, Japanese is an entirely different language to English (Especially syntactically)… To give an accurate translation you have to hear the whole sentence before you even say a word; it’s not like French where the sentence patterns are so similar that you can almost go word for word with what they’re saying. So basically by the end of a long sentence, its easy to forget part of the content.

It didn’t come across clearly in the translation, but from the untranslated audio it came across that they will restore basic functions, such as gameplay, within the previously stated week (Ending on… Tuesday? Wednesday? Something like that), with the FULL functionality restored within a month from today.

They said the same thing we already know, they need to tell us new info, only thing i learn couple of free non valuable download with psn plus and 10 million credit cards of the 70’s million, somthing we kinda new already, I am concern about need to have the original ps3 system to do the new update, i had 4 ps3 with the same id, reason because i upgrated to the slims, so how is this suppose to work for those psn users on my boat. Again, something we already know and still on ????? when is coming back and more confusion to my above questions, no im not happy with this
