You mean: 360 is going to hold development back like the PS3 has held co-op gaming back on the multiplat games this gen?

I’ve said all along, the PS3’s power is over-hyped. B-ray is only storage, RAM is where its at & the RAM of the PS3 is split & they cant delegate power to portions of the games they want to control.
Ask a SONY dev & play that wack LaNOIRE with them because they’ll lie to you!

]]> By: tikyle https://thekoalition.com/2011/the-co-op-e3-2011-special-part-1-microsoft-predictions#comment-37043 Thu, 02 Jun 2011 19:03:00 +0000 http://www.thekoalition.com/?p=52391#comment-37043 Kap I think you’re confusing data storage with console capabilities.  Yes the DVD is an archaic storage device for today’s larger games but I don’t think R* is at a ceiling when dealing with the 360.  If HD DVD had worked and 360 had a larger storage no one would even be bringing this up.  I think the 360 will last 3 more years.  I don’t see the need for a new console when this one is still selling and killing in software sales.  Microsoft should be wary of what happened to Sony between PS2 and PS3 before jumping the gun on a new system and Sony should be wary as well b/c a Ps4 anytime soon might be the end of Sony as a console of choice in the US.
