This review is a pack of balls n scrotums…. nothing is wrong with an artist broadening there fan data base n being versatile at the same time… everybody clearly knows that pop music is the most listened to genre at present an clearly she did a good job at it. she even went as far to separate the rap from the RnB n pop music. Apparently you expect her to rap on all 19 songs????????…. I’m not picking up for nicky even doh i am a Trini 🙂 but she has talent, theatrical n a great song writer, well at least most of the times. you need to understand that any artist will flow there lyrics to where the money is and thats when u gonna be a success….. This Review #EPICFAIL….

Starships isn’t the best song in history but its nkt the worst. Im listening to the album now and I lkve it. Love both pop and rap songs, wby is everyone focusing on that a lot of male rappers have combined rap and pop like Flo-rida. Get ove it people I love the album and my neighbours better like it because its gonna be on replay for a long tjme.

Album is structured for success, pop,r&b,club and hip hop heads get their fix,
she got to a point only with one album where she can do whatever she wants and it will sell, it takes others tons of albums before they can do that int heir career.

I believe fans should be honest if they know good music. This album is 2 stars at best. Just because it’s Nicki doesn’t suggest this is a stellar album. It’s crappy. Rushed. The album is all over the place. How do you list this album? No such category as pop/rap. It’s more pop than rap. And Nicki can NOT sing. Her voice isn’t bad but it’s not good enough to make songs and can’t sing them LIVE!

I’m sorry but I completely disagree with this review, Nicki managed to have a perfect blend of hip hop, dance tracks, pop songs and love songs in this album. It really showcases her ability not only as a rapper but also as a singer and songwriter. Whilst I do admit that there should have more hip hop tracks I am actually quite surprised at how much I am actually enjoying the album.

After seeing how your rated the album I see this review as no more than someone who is trying to look musically educated and superior by rating an album far lower than it should be, similar to a blogger giving a bad review to get more views. Good luck on your writing, you might land a job at Fox News one day god knows they love their biased writers.

Actually he’s right. i also thought “I Am your leader” and “Champion” were the only two good ones. U have to understand that this is the INDUSTRY. If Nicki wasnt on a label run by Birdman and Lil Wayne, her music may have been better. Larger labels would not even let her put out that garbage. As far as hip-hop is concerned, people tend to forget what HIP-HOP really is. Lines like “hang it up..flatscreen , bite me..apple sign” are only used for comedic purposes.. no real lyrical skill what-so-ever. That’s why i fuxx with J.COLE 🙂
