I’d never base one of my comments off anything IGN has said. I’m positive I’ve been playing games as long or longer than 99.9% of journalists that talk about game.

NG, NG Black, & NG2 were fluid, martial arts accurate, & void of QTE’s. Its a shame NG3 is rubbish.

My kids are also Ninja Gaiden lovers. When we played NG3 my 9yr old daughter & 12yr old son were stunned at the garbage that is Ninja Gaiden 3.

I’m just glad I didn’t have to put that trash in my 360, I let my son stain his 360 with the play of that terrible game.

But youre correct, everyone has their own opinion & that makes the world go round!

Thanks for your feedback and you make some good points. Thing is, I would say that everyone is entitled to their own opinion of the game. When Itagaki left he also brought with him most of the key artists and developers that were part of the making the original games great. With that in mind, perhaps they could have just made this a straight up reboot rather then a sequel and therefore it would be seen in a different context. Thing is though, not every website trashed this game and I can think of several games that are way worse then this (example: Divinity 2 for Xbox 360). Even if you add up every score from every publication and website the average on Metacritic is at 57 out of 100. Surely if everyone thought it was a 1.5 then it wouldn’t have reached the 57 mark. Like I said before it’s a matter of opinion and therefore people will say what they want about the game regardless of if IGN trashes it or not.

For those of us that beat NG “several” times over would rate NG3 1.5 out of 10.
That 1.5 is due to you get an automatic + rating of 3 just for “Ninja Gaiden” being in the title.

Yes Rich, if you’ve done your math correctly, with no bonus of + 3, NG3 would get a -1.5 rating from me!

For consumers that played this S***, they would give it a rating of 3 or 4 tops!

NG3 & its QTE’s is Friggin Garbage! People that rented this should demand their money back & people that bought NG3 should Riot!
