In reply to Gyus. Yes, it is an RPG in a lot of ways. However, if you watch the second video I posted, the developers clearly state at the very beginning that it is primarily an action game.

Every game now looks “gay” when compared to Dragon’s Dogma and while the author is saying this is more of an action game than RPG, the RPG elements are actually very heavy as there’s a huge emphasis on equipment, class and abilities and you have to make the right party in order to survive in the world.

Know your facts before you sprout nonsense.
