Just to clarify, we were lucky enough to play multiplayer with 4 other people before the EGXP doors opened to the public.

Also Gary gave GoW 3 a 10/10, I gave GoW Collection and Ghost Of Sparta 9/10. We are huge fans of the series.

I agree completely. I think the multiplayer is stupid and a shameless pander for an online demographic. But I absolutely love God of War, they are my favorite games besides real-time strategy games on computer and college football games on PS3. The single player looks really good. Sounds to me like these guys weren’t all into God of War to begin with. Look at how long it took them to play some of the games! Are you kidding me? After I discovered the first game, I bought God of War II the DAY it came out and it seemed like it took forever. I was the same way with God of War 3. Not that these guys don’t have some points, but clearly they are not true God of War fans.
P.S In a few years, I want at least ONE more game after God of War 3 in the timeline! Zues could come back and they can always create some more Gods. Maybe Zues resurrects a few of them or something, or acutally creates some new ones. Wouldn’t have to be that far-fetched, he’s the king of the Gods for crying out loud! Some people would be haters but I would love it and play it for sure!!

unbeliavable, single player is always going to be simular gameplay because its mainly about story, if youre mashing buttons and not comboing buttons in a fighting game style youre doing it wrong. The multiplayer is 4 vs 4 and was at eurogamer expo, we qued 4 times to get more hands on the multiplayer it was so good. do not trust this review, two of my friends did not like the first 5 games, me and one other love them, however the two that didnt came away from eurogamer wanting to get the game.

The only thing that sort of interests me about this game is multiplayer, but that’s mostly because I am curious to see if it’s as terrible as it very well could be. Time will tell, but color me indifferent.

God of War: Ascension looks amazing, it’s got so many new features and is a massive improvement in may ways. By the time God of War: Ascension releases it will be 3 years since God of War III, that’s perfectly fine. Why would you count remastered games as new releases?! That’s incredibly stupid. You two are just pessimistic bastards who failed to notice any of the changes and then one of you fools goes ahead and insults the developers calling the game ‘God of War 3.5’.

Here’s some changes to the single player I could see that both you amateurs failed to notice and mention: The climbing has been completely overhauled, the combat is faster and has much more combat combinations, bare fist and kicking combat, the new world weapon system, the tether mechanic, the promptless QTE’s, new composer and a new artistic direction. There’s a lot new in God of War: Ascension which you didn’t give any credit to.

By the way, the playable multiplayer mode is 4 vs 4 not 3 vs 3, did you people even play the game? I have a feeling that no matter how amazing the games turn out to be stupid jouralists will complain that ‘it’s more of the same’, what you fools don’t understand is that the millions of fans don’t want it to completely change, all they have to do is add some new things and perfect the amazing formula they have, EVOLUTION >>>>>>> REVOLUTION.
