I would like to see Kratos as a real god. A new king of the gods in fact. I would like to see Kratos haveing the ultimate powers like zeus did. I want to fight all the Titans and gods from olympus. Even allies new gods on Krato`s side, ones you can command like in a war game. Less puzzles more blood shed! more mythology. Have aries come back to life and the other gods years later along with Kratos. forget going back in time before the first god of war. Move on to the future!

Pretty Sure Stig said it was going to be a trilogy. Last one. Disapppointed sure but if you’re making up fake Demi-gods go to the norse, greek or egyptians.

I though the 3rd was the worst of all the games, though the nods to the previous games like Ares being in the frozen floor were nice.

Just let it die and start with something NEW

What does Sony’s financial troubles have to do with them releasing a God of War game? Microsoft is making profit but they not releasing a new Halo to make up for losses…

I agree, we play God of War to play God of War. Aren’t we interested in progression in the story rather than new and different gameplay? If things change or needed to change it wouldn’t have the “God of War,” name anymore, and we’d find a different game to play like those who don’t typically like the God of War series most definitely have. From the first to the second to the third games on Playstation, the graphics become tremendously better and that’s what captures many peoples’ attention But for those who enjoy both the gameplay and story of the series and would hate for anything to change, like me, we are excited for the new game and to find out more about Kratos and his early background with the same amazing gameplay we love and are used to.

For this game i would like to see new and more weapons (without chains!), items and magic than previous games that are original and bring something new to the series like the head of helios in gow iii.

There is a lot of unfair criticism over the god of war series around here. The main reason that the games aren’t that different from each other is because we already had excellent entries in the series that did not need that much improvement, and the style of the game and the main charater himself(Kratos) fit very well togheter and changing that could be a terrible mistake. We still got improvments in the weapons, moves, and abilities deparmtment ( icarus wings, the items introduced in gow iii like the head of helios) and all games have a good story adding to what we know about Kratos. You don’t like the button prompts? Too bad, becuase they fit very well in the game and add to the experience unlike other games.
