There are tons of games in Nintendo’s vault for them to take advantage of. Hell, I want a new Mario Tennis that includes the RPG elemets from the GBA version and adds new elements to the game.

The gamepad is pretty much the perfect controller for this type of games. in fact, I wouldn’t mind if a lot of strategy games like XCom Enemy Unknown, RTS like Starcraft, Company of Heroes, Total War, etc. be ported/developed for Wii U. that would be awesome.

I think given that it is an HD console, I would personally prefer to see how far they can push the system’s power in a 3D/first-person Metroid game. That being said, I would be incredibly happy with a console 2D Metroid as well.

I think the next one needs to be a return to its roots. First person can take a break. I want an enhanced 2d game. The last home console release was was over 18 years ago. The portable games were good, but I’m ready for a new full fledged 2d experience.

Well, Battalion Wars is hardly a gridbased tactical strategy game, it was much more real-time focused. Not really the same at all in any way. Thanks G-Man!
