Batman Arkham Origins will be good maybe even better than Asylum, not sure better than City tho. I agree some of open world elements took away from the main story but my 2nd time around playing I found it to be a much better overall experience(having all riddles and riddler trophies found) it was pretty much just story and fun side quests. Origins sounds like a game for more of the hardcore Batman fans as myself. Throw in the Falcone’s and Maroni’s and you have yourseld a memorable game. I’m also loving the fact that they are pushing for more Detective Mode.

I would have to disagree, I loved every Batman game, I love flying through the city of Gotham and I actually think BIGGER IS BETTER, I cannot wait to explore both New and Old Gotham, I love the back and forth missions in different areas and walking the long streets of Gotham is (In my opinion) what made the game soooo good! I will admit I have my doubts especially since Rocksteady is not involved and they are revamping the characters (vocie wise) but am confident it was be another successor. I am also curious to know more insight on the characters of Arkham Origins…something turns me off about having these ninja like characters and I did not like that with Arkaham City and Ra’s ninja girls…so I hope not all of these assassin’s are flip-drop and roll! I like fighting Blackgate prisoners and Tyger guards! But like I said I am pretty excited about Origins and the storyline and can take WB word that they will stick to the same concept and gameplay as previous just under their own title (keep in mind WB owns the rights and have been on the title since Arkham Asylum) P.S. I pray…and hope they do not put those damn Lunitics from Arkham Asylum in this game….that is the ONLY thing I HATE about Asylum…they were creepy and to me pointless to have in the game!

Wrong….really you guys think this wont be good…Arkham Origins will be the best one…come on Deathstroke….Deathstroke and you got other big assassin like DeadShot and you got Anrky for the side mission..it’s going to be nuts

The world in Arkham City was definitely overwhelming and the side missions kinda took away from the main game overall in my opinion. Still though, i'm intrigued to see what exactly this game has to offer. If its horrible, i'll be the first to let that fact be known lol

I don’t think this will be the best game in the series. Arkham Asylum is one of my favorite games, but I didn’t like Arkham city as much because the environment was too large. It doesn’t bode well for me, personally, that this game will feature an environment that’s twice as large.

That said, I’m not all doom and gloom. If the new developers can make each of the 8 boss fights memorable, then they have a shot at winning me over.

Also, since this is a younger Batman, I think it would be cool that in the beginning his martial arts is kind of sluggish, but as the game progresses he becomes more comfortable and skilled. I doubt they’ll do that, but still–it’s the little things.
