In reply to HayterisSnake. That's the thing that gets me the most. Recreate Metal Gear with the same Japanese voice actor but let's scrap everything that fans in the west loved and start over, not to mention that this is Kojima's "last" Metal Gear game, perfect time right? My theory is still this, they're bringing in whoever is to star as Snake in the live-action Metal Gear Solid movie to provide the voice work. While I have no doubt this will still be an amazing game. it's gonna be weird as hell hearing someone else playing a character we have come to enjoy and recognize as Snake. Sad.

David Hayter made Metal Gear what it is. That’s like telling Peter Cullen not to come back for Optimus Prime. The voice of Snake is iconic to the brand. This would make me sad every time I heard him speak.

In reply to David Jagneaux. True, but Riaden, Hitman and Max Payne were all also almost replaced. But then at the last minuete they made the right desion to keep the VO. It Could still happen. If not. . . well I guess I won't buy it then.

You know whats wierd about this whole thing, earlier this year they almost replaced Raiden, but then they got his Voice Actor back at the last minuete. So my question is why would they bring back Riaden, but give Snake the Shaft this makes absolutly no sense.

…. why… just why? Dacid Hayter is too nice for something like this to happen. Plus Snake voice (US) may be the most recognizable in the entire industry. (Master Chief doesn’t talk enough, Nathan Drake is too new and Marcus Fenix hasn’t been around long enough) Nope. . . without David Hayter this is one Metal gear I will not be playing.
