In reply to allenphelix. It's my own personal list, I included it because it was one of the best games I played this year for me personally, regardless of payment model. Just because a game is free-to-play doesn't mean it can't be judged with the same eyes that judge games you have to pay for to play.

Can you really include Neverwinter? It’s not a typical video game. A free MMO can’t really be put alongside a bunch of games that you have to pay for, it’s just not fair on the creators. I could write a novel and put it out for free, but do I then deserve to be a new york times bestseller?
