While it no doubt does look better on PC with an emulator when compared to the original PS2 version, I don’t think it looks as good as this remake and it definitely doesn’t offer as much.

While the emulated version might upscale the resolution, that does not improve the textures, character models, animations, music or have PS3 and/or Vita support.

its interesting seeing this now after ive played it on ps2 emulator on pc that has an option of rendrering up to 6 times of ps2 resolution, and looks almost the same as this remastered pics, so even tho i like the news, if some1 bothered to dl emulator and play it on pc with controller, you could had those gfx like 2-4 years ago

There is honestly no difference between these two images besides the fact that his skin tone is difference. Are you telling me that a remaster on new hardware can only provide Tidus with a new tan? That is quite worrying if I do say so. Even the texture of the sky is clearly the same, and anyone else who can’t see that is a delusional FFanboy (I know you like that).

Put it this way, these screens look better than Star Ocean The Last Hope, and that game came out this gen. Though I’m not sure everyone will agree with me.
