Then WOW should have possibly been the first free-to-play focus because WOW is the definitive example of how a free-to-play experience should be delivered. And as you pointed out no free-to-play game is 100% free-to-play because they will want you to buy something.
And for the reasons you specified Star Conflict is inadequate. Sure you can play it for free, but how long will you really stick with it? I'm sure it's great for some though. Mainly the free-loaders who flock to free stuff like a pack of walkers. Those who don't specifically care for the true quality of the game, but play simply because its free. I despise them with a passion.

Doing a video on WoW is a good idea, but it is not entirely free-to-play (which, I guess technically, nothing is truly) and is also not a newly free-to-play game anymore (trying to instead focus on the latest free-to-play games.)

I agree with your assessment of EVE - that game is incredible in both scope and detail. However, Star Conflict is very much an arcadey experience (which is entertaining in its own right) when compared to the intense realism of something like EVE.

Thanks for the comment!

You can't have a free-to-play focus without now mentioning WOW. WOW is basically free-to-play now because you get to level up 25 and by the time you get that far you wont even think twice about paying. If you really want to make this series valid I suggest you do a video on WOW immediately. With that being said Star Conflict is great but it's got nothing on EVE. EVE is the most realistic space MMO ever invented. But of course it's not free-to-play so I guess it's irrelevant.
