They should just give up on consoles and make games for other platforms. Their business model for portable devices (selling $40 dollar games) is being killed by Apple and Android with their ($1 dollar downloads). Their consoles are being killed by Microsoft and Sony. I love their games. But I don't get why they are so stubborn regarding the not making games for other platforms they want to commit seppuku.

Lol comments below quite amusing. Nintendo haven't released one of their big guns yet on WiiU. I think Wii Fit U will be a major one for the system. It was genre breaking before, and something the competition may not do so well in. Exercise is always a timeless event. Will be a very sellable game.
But Nintnedo have always been dead silent about everything. They released the first direct, everyone was up in arms with praise, then they forgot again thinking Nintendo is doomed again.
Pretty soon they'll reveal a Metroid probably. Then everyone will declare Nintendo's WiiU a must have again. And so it goes.
I got a WiiU, and I know it's going to have stellar titles, I'm not expecting Nintendo to force release anything now. They will just be great games for years to come. Not some forgettable CoD title, or annual sports game update.
I have even had a slight theory that Nintendo has deliberately belated their major title releases in light of the pending competition just to use the time to polish said games and release em closer to PS4/720 launch to directly thwart their lime lights.
Either way. WiiU will do fine.

When all is said and done, I think Nintendo will be fine. Smash Brothers Wii U and Zelda Wii U will both sell really well for them and probably persuade more people to buy a Wii U.
