The game was not received well on PS3 because of bad porting, everyone complained about this. I don’t know if PS3 sold less or more but due to the bad graphics and overcrowded complains I would say ps3 didn’t sell well during the first few months of launch (my opinion)

There is no such thing as rights in multiplatform unless you make your game exclusive to 1 console. Dunno why Microsoft didn’t buy it, but I’m such Sony wouldn’t have been interested because of the bad port ps3 version had.

Nintendo probably paid a lot of money to have Bayonetta 2 exclusive for Wii U. NIntendo were probably the first ones who went to Platinum Games to ask about Bayonetta sequels. Because I don’t believe Hideki saying Bayonetta 2 was only possible with Nintendo. Bayonetta sold over 1million, who would be so stupid not to release a sequel?

Yes many fans kept asking Platinum Games and Hidyeki about a sequel, even websites publishes about Bayonetta 2. So all these exclusive news about this sounds fishy to me.

But it doesn’t matter, the game will eventually come on other platforms. If Platinum Games hasn’t given Nintendo full right to publish the IP.

Hey xino just wanna say respectively sony and microsoft had the rights to bayonetta but when they first released it, it didn’t sell well due to lack of publicity so they thought was not worth having a sequel and sold the rights, nintendo then picked it up saving the game and company so why would they want to share it when they put all their money into this btw i’m also a crossplatform owner ps3/360/wii u and soon ps4 i respect all consoles and what they bring to the table, plus fed up of the console bashing on all sides just enjoy peole please.

WiiU tablet crossplay is included but the gamepad does more than just play a wii U game. It can augment your games to include local multi-player and assist or play the game in ways the vita can’t.

Not to mention, YOU WOULD NEED TO BUY A VITA IN ORDER TO DO THIS.

In general, people wants its products to be top-notch in terms of technology. They always try to choose the product that has more features and more power. The WiiU is weak in power for a next-gen console, and its functionality “gimmick” is already present in competing console (PS4). So why in heavens would a people choose a WiiU over a PS4? There is no logic. That’s what this article is about, Nintendo is in trouble.

i like how Nintendo tried to spark the fire by making Bayonetta exclusive. This was their assurance to make sure people will buy Wii U because of Bayonetta.

But we’ll see what Platinum Games does. If the game doesn’t sell, they will make it for 8th gen consoles.

The only way Nintendo can win wii u sales assurance is to make either Shenmue 3 exclusive for Wii U or Half Life 3:)

If Resident Evil 1 remake and Resident Evil 0 can come out of other consoles, so will Bayonetta 2.
Many will say Rayman and Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor’s Edge are coming on 7th gen consoles. That’s because NG3 was supposed to play like RE but Team NINJA and Nintendo probably made a slimmery deal to rip off the gamers.

For Rayman, I have no idea why that is coming out on other consoles.

Nintendo is indeed at stake in this generation, WiiU is a very weak console compared to PS4 and (probably) the next Xbox, and unlike Wii, which had a exclusive gimmick at launch (Wiimote), the WiiU tablet crossplay already is integrated in PS4. I really hope Nintendo step it up to the competition, but with the passing months I find it more and more difficult.
