I
am really amped for this game for many reasons. I love middle-earth
mythos and it appears to me that the developers are taking great care
with the content as per reading the write up in game informer. The plot
itself is very intriguing, the noble ranger
murdered and reserected paired with a wraith of vengence. I don't
understand why people are saying this can't be so. Look what happened to
smeagol because of the ring, he is in a constant push pull relationship
with gollum. Furthermore look what happened to frodo on weathertop when
he was stabbed by a wraith blade, he was turning into a wraith himself.
Last example is boromir, he was so possesed by the power of the ring it
began to change him. I feel this approach is very original and can only
add substance to the canon, take for example the force unleashed and
all it did for star wars. I really like the pairing of the ranger and
the wraith because it sets the stage for a quest of finding out why
they've been brought together, and are there goals the same or are they
at odds with each other. And the combat beeing based on the batman
series is impresive, as well as the fleshed out nemesis system of
enemies remembering your encounters and what you can do with the choices
it has. I wish monolith and wb all the luck in the world, thank you
from the bottom of my heart for giving me another game based in
middle-earth to create more memories. I will be pre ordering this game
for sure for my next gen console, just look at the videos of the
developers and you will fully understand the amount of work going into
this project. Monolith and wb you get a standing ovation from me for
sure, keep doing what you're doing because it is great. It has never
been done before in middle-earth and that is very exiting.

War in the North was pretty awesome and LOTRO is a very successful and long-running MMO. The RTS games on PC were great as well, from what I've heard. There are lots of good LOTR games, imo.
