I have been playing both the game and watching the show. While I do not have a lot of time for gaming these days, I think both are great. The MMO, so far, is a ton of fun and doesn't seem to cater to casual players (which despite being a casual player myself these days, I consider to be a good thing). I really hope the lay offs had nothing to do with the game's success or not, as every time I do log in there are plenty of players around, and I hope it has more to do with a true restructuring from a giant launch with a lot of anticipated technical difficulties to a stable ongoing development environment.

This news is pretty horrible. The game probably isn't too good yet the show just got picked up for a second season on Syfy Network. Hope everyone involved can recover sooner rather than later.
