Hard Drives should have been 1TB each as far as size goes. 500gb is simply unacceptable especially when these consoles are moving closer to PC standards.

Yes, the hard-drives should be bigger. PS4 has a changeable hard-drive, even though I don't think that they have released the specs of excepted hard-drives. I do think that PS4 will eventually support external hard-drives, Hopefully. Xbox One will not have a replaceable hard-drive but will support external hard-drives, but not on Day One. Hopefully both companies will will take care of that soon. I personally would rather have external hard-drives supported, even though there are pros and cons on both my current home network has over 100 TB of storage excessive or not most people that have 20 360 games which could be 150 gb or so depending on game size and DLC. Taking into account that Blue-Rays are 50 GB and you have 20 games that is one TB or 1000 GB with out counting for DLCs. Using an external hard-drive could cut now on the time it takes to move content to a new Xbox, also it would make it easier to back up data just in case there is a hard-drive failure. Hard-drive failure is not common because of quality checks but it dose happen over heating or deformities on the disk are always possible, computers are programmed to mark bad parts in hard-drives and move info around them but depending on how this generation of consoles are programmed they may not know any better. Just a disclaimer I am a Xbox person, but first and foremost I am a Gamer. Make Games not War
