PS4 has many great games that gamers love. That’s why it’s 10+ million in sales and growing. Sony’s large number of well funded 1st parties will ensure PS4 has a ton of great AAA exclusives, as many or more than PS3.

PS4/Sony exclusives Jun-Dec: The Last of Us Remastered, Driveclub, LittleBigPlanet 3, Infamous: First Light, Samurai Warriors 4, Natural Doctrine, Guilty Gear Xrd, Singstar, and lots of indies (Resogun DLC, Counterspy, Hohokum, Velocity 2X, etc.).

PS4/Sony exclusives 2015 (announced): Bloodborne, The Order, Ratchet & Clank Remastered, Uncharted 4, Let It Die, Deep Down, and lots of indies.

PS4 has 35+ AAA games from July to December 2014. Most of those are multiplatform but there’s no shortage of AAA games for PS4 owners.

Sony announced a ton of new Japanese games for PS4 at TGS 2014.

PS4 has a steady stream of games all year. According to Listwar it’s now 110 PS4 games to 65 XB1 games. The fact is PS4 has nearly twice as many games as XB1, and many of those are rated 73+ on Metacritic.

PS4 is selling on price/performance, better PR and global appeal, long term 1st party support, large number of 1st party studios, more total games and dev support including Japanese and indie devs, wider variety of games, improved PSN since the PS3 days, and PS+ value. It’s seen as the best console for multiplatform games.

You really like XBOX don’t you? lol

PS4 & PS3 games don’t have Campaign Co-op via Splitscreen; Gears has it, Halo has it, & other games have it on XBOX consoles. Sony consoles didn’t have it for various reasons.

Halo Master Chief Collection will have it at 1080p 60fps & changed “splitscreen” co-op from vertical, to horizontal “splitscreen” co-op on Halo 2. See, they provide options with XBOX consoles. If you played games on XBOX consoles the way most of us did, you’d know this. I’ll be playing it on 11/11/2014…See it’s still in demand.

See Tony, this is why I gravitate towards the XBOX ONE, they give the options for everyone. My son & I play co-op online, as I bought him an XBOX. My daughter still plays on my tv. Just because you think everyone doesn’t want “splitscreen”, many play this way.

My kids will spend the night at friends houses, this is what they do, “splitscreen” co-op. It won’t change because Sony consoles can’t do it. If they can, what game does it?

I mentioned TLOU because it’s supposed to be a big seller. Halo Master Chief Collection will be a Huge seller. They both are carrying the exclusive flags this holiday season for their respective console.

Also, Halo Master Chief Collection changed a lot, vs TLOU.

Split-screen gameplay is irrelevant these days. There is a reason companies stopped doing it. Gamers are old now and can’t be coming over to each other’s houses to play. Playing online is easier. I have fond memories of split-screen co-op but those days are over. That’s really dope that you can play with your kids but for most people that isn’t the case and they don’t have the luxury of having physical people to play with. Again, this is why online play has taken over split-screen. It’s just easier for the majority and that is why companies have to cater to.

Also, that is how YOU feel about not having off-line play. Remember that this game is an MMO so that is how things are. It is always online because it has to be.

As for Halo, why are you comparing it to The Last of Us? That makes no sense. Both of those games are re-releases and neither will have any real impact on the industry. They are games for the hardcore fans. That’s it.

And as for CoD, its days of being at the top are over. Ghosts didn’t do nearly as well as the others. I predict this franchise will continue to dip as people find other franchises that are fresh.

Tony…that’s online only. There’s no splitscreen co-op in Destiny. This is the first game Bungie released without splitscreen co-op since 2001.

And, there’s no offline campaign play; that’s bs. I don’t care for others jackin around in my game on the first play through.

If you think Halo isn’t going to have an impact, you’re kidding yourself. You don’t play Halo Tony but believe it or not, it’s far more popular than TLOU. See any Halo Master Chief Collection panel. Also, Halo Master Chief Collection is much more than a release of old games. Try reading up on Halo Master Chief Collections package. It’s much more than that 11 month shoeshine repackage of TLOU that SONY released.

Same goes for COD. You may not like it, however, 8 million consumers purchased it on the 360 alone… With another 5+million on the PS3, with over 1 million each on the XBOX ONE& PS4. Those numbers aren’t going anywhere fast.

I bought Destiny for my son, I won’t get it for myself.

As for Campaign Co-op via Splitscreen: I’ve beaten all 4 Gears of War games, Perfect Dark Zero, all Halo games except Halo 2 (due to the vertical splitscreen co-op option; that 343 changed to the XBOX traditional horizontal splitscreen co-op in the Remastered Halo Master Chief Collection), with my daughter. There are many of us that play this way; options are good.

I’ll play more Destiny this weekend, as for now, I’m not all that impressed.

Dude… there is campaign co-op. You can play the entire story with a fire team. That’s co-op.

Also, I doubt Halo will have any sort of impact seeing as how it’s just a re-release of old games. I don’t think CoD will do much either seeing as how it’s a tired franchise that people aren’t excited about. Destiny is fresh, those other two games are not.

Halo Master Chief Collection & Call Of Duty:Advance Warfare will be the most popular games on XBOX ONE, with Destiny 3rd.

Now, that the PS4 has no exclusives, Destiny may edge out Call Of Duty : Advance Warfare but, I doubt it.
