In reply to Tharsin. Final Fantasy IV has been remade before. There is the polygonal version for DS or (my personal favorite) the sprite-based one on PSP/PS Vita. FFVI does need a remaster along the lines of the PSP FFIV.

This makes me kinda mad. Final Fantasy is my favorite game series of all time and while I did think FFX was fantastic, I wish they would remake FF VII, FF IV (SNES II), and/or FF VI (SNES III) first. Would it really be that hard to supe up those graphics? Those games have some of the best stories I have ever played and it’s disappointing that Squenix doesn’t give them recognition anymore. THEY DESERVE REMAKES FIRST!!!

Figured this would happen, and it’s precisely why I haven’t bought this on PS3 or Vita yet. Likewise with the KH packages.
