In reply to Yuge. By specifying your choices on Hawke's personality, decisions, etc. in the Dragon Age Keep, you will give him/her the background you desire (it doesn't have to be the one you played through, either). You can also upload your customized Hawke for visual consistency (which is not true with your Origins character).

In reply to chris rightsell. You can customize your Hawke character in the Dragon Age Keep, which will open before the game is released (I uploaded my mage with her grey eyes all shiny <3). However, your Origins character cannot be customized (though you can specify what happened to them and which choices you made in the game).

actually the hawke I played was male so will that affect my inquisition gameplay at all

I think Hawke will take the personality based on the dialogues you pick in DA2. If the 75% choices in dialogues you make with Hawke are diplomatic/good, then he or she will be diplomatic/good. If you had 60% of sarcartic and 40% of agressive, then he or she will be some sort of sarcastic/agressive asshole XD.

Anyway, Hawke will not be a companion, that’s for sure. In fact, I think he (or she) will make some sort of appeareance, like a “cameo”, like Alister in DA2. I really hope I’m wrong in this XD, I love take Hawke as a companion, but…

the unidentified person could be Sebastian from the dlc content in DA2 as well. I believe he was blondish/brown haired… I’ll have to go back and play it again lol…. I want to make a background for my upcoming game just incase. DAO and DA2 here I come 🙂

How is this supposed to work? Do they just guess at your Hawke’s personality? Or do you select dialogue options to talk to yourself? If Hawke literally has any dialogue or makes any major decisions, I cannot see this working out.

You know, my first instinct was actually Anders on the blond guy. He’s wearing warden armor, he looks vaguely similar (blond hair, brown eyes, ect), and we can’t see his weapon, so I assumed it was a staff.

It’s probably not, though. Still… considering how DA2 ended, if you actually kept Anders alive, it’d make sense he’d show up in Inquisition somewhere. Even if you killed him, actually, since Anders apparently faked his death in Awakenings, too.

Warden has no Voice Actor though… Will be hard to implement the Warden.

FemHawke is awesome though and the Witty Banter is golden in DA2.

Yes, Hawke returns! I always wanted to know what they were up to in DA:I since DA2 ended in a cliffhanger even if you sided with the Templars and became the Vicount of Kirkwall!

Hawke is my favourite protagonist, and Isabella as my partner.
Such a well done story hope i see them both and what their role will be after hiding out in the mountains. I think i might play it again soon actually 🙂

I think people might be missing something just as important in that still. Hawke is standing next to . an unidentified Gray Warden. That Warden could very well be your character from DA:O

Awesome that Hawke is in the game but what about your Warden from Origins as I liked the Warden and his/her companions way more than Hawke and his/her crew.
