I don’t understand the need for constant caps and elipses, I was just explaining my obviously differing point of view. The word “argue” has taken on a negative connotation, especially on the internet, but I feel like there is confusion in what that word really means a lot of the time.

As far as the discussion at end, you’re right, we don’t know the price – which is precisely why my original comment was it “should” cost less.

You’re arguing about a topic that doesn’t exist. I never said anything about the price of next-gen (now current-gen) games, obviously those have stayed the same. Those prices have, for the most part, been about the same forever. Once you move on to these new systems though, when you’re releasing a watered down version of a game to a previous generation and not delivering the full experience, it ceases to make sense to charge the full price for that game because it is, simply, not the full game.

We clearly disagree – you believe they should cost the same price regardless.

@DJag:disqus how doesn’t my ” logic make any sense “? TELL ME! The Next Gen consoles have arrived, the cost and man power has increased, BUT our retail price has not! WHAT DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND? Next Gen games could have easily gone up in price to $70, but stayed the same! ALSO at the end of the day you nor I know the retail price of the 360/Ps3 versions yet!

So basically @richardbailey:disqus if you were a ” Developer ” you would force people that want to play your games to find money to buy a ” Next Gen ” console? Think about it Rich, would you spend $460+ or $60 to play a game you like?

Those are valid points but my logic is if this meant to be a next-gen game then it should only be on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. If I was a developer, I wouldn’t want to release a game thats lacking in features for other consoles just to make a quick buck. Nintendo is doing the exact same thing with Super Smash Bros now where the Wii U version now has to be dumbed down just so the same game can be playable on the 3DS. Had they not bothered with making the game for the 3DS, I think they could have done even more with Smash Bros. Shadow of Mordor could be a good game.. I just don’t see why they would release a modified version of the game when the full experience is better suited for next-gen consoles.

That logic doesn’t any sense at all. They have clearly stated the *true* version of the game, ie: the full version, is on the Xbox One and PS4. This is not *more* game, it’s THE game. That is the baseline. They are now REMOVING features from the last-gen versions but likely charging the same price. That, to me, is not right.

There is a different between adding features and removing them, they are doing the latter.

@DJag:disqus You said ” it should cost less ” because your getting less of a game, so is it fair to say XB1 & PS4 games should cost more because you get more? I don’t know about you, but I’m happy they kept the price the same!
