well i don’t remember senting my consoles for format because they got a virus,but this did happen to my laptop

in team fortress 2 i had to search for a whole month on youtube to find out how to enable the controller.one of them told me to simply enter a commandment that enables a controller which didn’t work by the way.mostof the other videos told me to donload useless programs.
to be precise they told me to download:motion in joey(a program that does not work at all),better ds3(a program that does not detect my controller),joytokey(a program that does not respond when i move the left analogue stick)and they told me to search on google for 360ce(a program that responds just fine but still does nothing when i try to play).
it turned out that all i had to do is open steam go to big screen and chose that option that allowes me to map the buttons on my controller so it works.
well it could not play tf2 with the controller the first 3 times i tried this methode.the fourth time it worked and i have no idea why.i could finally play tf2 with a controller,but then i realised that 2 of the buttons on my controller did not respond at all.i realised that the game did not let me change the controlls and the game did not take the commandment that disables the controller.luckily for me that button that recets the default controlls worked and i managed to bring the old controlls back.

in case you wonder my controller works fine,i checked it.

i really hate when people try to spread myths about pc gaming in their effort to debunk them.
that myth is partially true.yes there are games that support controller but many of them do not support it.

if pc gamers suck so much at enabling controllers then i don’t want to think how much you suck at helping people built their pc.

Starcraft II isn’t on consoles. A good RTS on consoles* is what I was inferring, I should’ve spelled it out.

Sure the “hacker” did. Sorry, I’m on the Steam VAC forums a lot and it’s ALLWAYS the same story when the person was clearly hacking. Most of them lie and every once in a blue moon there’s one person that’s telling the truth.

That is the worst analogy I ever read. Anyway, they take keys from bundles that arent meant to be separated, do exactly that, and then charge for each key separately, which is against the ToS for most of the sites that officially sell the bundles. Fuck G2A. They are ripping people off on both ends.

Steam is isn’t DRM. Steam is nothing more than a store and a down loader. If still think Steam is DRM then GOG Galaxy is as well. “It happened to a friend who had his account hack and to this day valve haven’t done anything to rectify the situation.” He probably hacked or did something, because VAC doesn’t enable for no reason.

Well most games are actually £40 online. I have never bought a game for more than £40. If its a short game i will finish it in a week and sell online for £30. If its a longer game and it takes me longer i can sell it for £20 very easily. If nostalgia sets in i can buy it very cheap online. I really don’t understand how you can argue against consumer rights, which steam is very anti.

As I mentioned, I’ve played 100s of hours across all types of game bar MOBAs.
I’ve come across no more than 20 incidents. My point was to say that hackers and cheaters aren’t a prevalent as most people believe it be.

The thing I’ve noticed with PC exclusive is that they are very specific (they try to be for everyone) which I think is the best way to be, give the gamers what they want.

The god of war series, the quantic dream games, anything made by naughty dog and not forgetting the infamous games will all impress you

I feel like having a variety of systems is always best. There’s nothing on any consoles that I want to play. Apart from FFXV all the games I was going to buy a console for (the crew, the division) have gone multiplatfrom

Then the question is whether the amount you sell the game for makes up for the extra to paid to buy the game in the first place.

For example, a title that costs £45 on console, £30 through Steam. You will have to sell that title for *at least* £15 to be financially in the same position. That’s before you consider that once you’ve sold it it’s gone, whereas the Steam copy remains yours.

If i buy any console game and want to sell it i can. With pcs disc based games if i couldn’t do the same as the key has been used.

You’re blind. If you own something you can choose to sell it with steam you can’t hell they don’t even give refunds for badly made games. If valve ban you for whatever reason you are then unable to play your games. It happened to a friend who had his account hack and to this day valve haven’t done anything to rectify the situation.

As a gamer who isn’t an idiot fanboy i game on pc and playstation they both have their pros and cons. Many of my best gaming experiences have been on a sony exclusive and anyone who misses out on them has a pretty deprived gaming experience imho but to say bs comments is just ludicrous!

Civilization isn’t an RTS. It is a turn based. Games like Starcraft and Command and Conquer are RTS.
