I also think they will announce that a few of their other developers are ready to release some new IPs this fall.. I think this fall might not be considered “Heavy Hitter” by Sony because they won’t be releasing anything considered their “Big Hitter IP” until Next Year.. but I think they will have a slew of new unproven IPs that could just become the “Next Big Thing”.

Andrew House Mentioned how “The Lineup for the Fall is… ‘Looking a little sparse’?” but I honestly think that was just him playing it out.. like.. “Yeah.. it is looking rough this holiday..” But what he was alluding too.. was that they have E3 in a month.. and we all know that with E3.. comes tons of announcements.. and with so much room this Holiday Season.. I can forsee Sony letting a few of their new IPs release this fall to fill the void.

I’m using GTAV as an example. It sold about 50 million copies across all platforms. That is about 200 million consoles (PS3/4, XB360/O). That’s 25%. Granted that is an insanely huge install base which most games don’t even get to, but fuck it, let’s go there. That’s where I’m getting 25% from. So if you were to use that for Uncharted and Halo on their respective systems, Uncharted outsells Halo.
