Why make the comics more like the movies?? They made the movies from the comics so why not just let the 616 universe remain its own thing and the ultimate universe be its own thing and let the comics continue to lead the way. If you want a fresh new marvel universe then start a fresh new universe (like they did with ultimates). Why destroy a beloved universe thats been going on since the 1940’s?? Destroy the Ultimate universe. Its past its expiration date. Leave 616 alone. And stop wishing you were the movies. The movies wish they were you.

I’m pretty confident that Marvel knows what they’re doing. EX Brand New Day was basically a Spiderman reboot, initially I was pissed, then I read it, and they have revitalized Peter Parker. I’m hoping that they’ll take ultimate and 616 to create a universe that is the best of both worlds.

Tottaly I agree with you 100%…..I recently got into reading comics, The different stories/lines is so confusing (luckly my local comic book store is friendly)…I love Marvel comics, But DC is so readily understandable with the new 52 and this would get me into Marvel
