If Microsoft doesn’t drop the price to $299 before Halo 5 is out the PS4 will win October. Just looking at amazon best sellers for the month, a PS4 is at #10 and #40. While the first Xbone is #54.

You guys are forgetting the effects of backwards compatibility. Again, we are also talking about North America, not the world. Xbox One no longer has to be cheaper to beat PS4. I’ll say this much, if Sony wins the holidays, it will be a first since the Xbox 360 was born.

Yes, and I stand by that! The cheaper console has always won North America! However, in terms of whether or not this will affect Halo 5…it won’t! If consumers want a game, they will buy it! And I’ll reiterate, the console war is always fought and won on price!

Actually they don’t. Having a great price always helps but it’s more about what consumers can afford and what consumers want. I’ll come back to you when the dust clears to see if you then understand my point.
