I can certainly understand the variance, but that also calls into question (for me anyways ) how X company can have such a drastic difference in performance in hardware that should be nominally identical. I’ve never had any long install issues (that Arkham Knight took an hour had my eyebrows raised, not even AC Unity took a long and it had a comparable install size).

Though I will note that my current PS4 was a replacement from Sony received in May of last year when I was going through the process of eliminating possible causes for Verizon wireless broadband and PSN not talking to each other, it’s entirely possible my launch one would have behaved the same as yours .

I heard about the issues people are having with the PC version of the game. It’s running perfectly on my PlayStation 4.

I think some consoles are exceptions with speedy install times but mostly everyone I know that are playing it on the PlayStation 4 are having the same issue, if it’s not 7 hours, it’s 5 or something other ridiculous number. Unless we all have broken day-one hardware, I don’t seehow so many people can be experiencing the same problem out of coincidence.
