Ending support?

Yeah, do some real journalism and give us some actual reports with facts, and not some clickbait shit would be nice.
All I found in regards to the Sony Computer Entertainment's 2014-2015 investors' call, and seeing the slides, that they were talking about the actual components (it says it right there if you actually looked into it), regarding the older model, which has stopped production since the newer/efficient components for the newer model we have now. In the business world, if there is leftover manufactured parts, previously from a product (it's literally the definition of legacy) that is no longer needed, they need to "recycle" it somehow, since they are obsolete; so what they do is write it off.

Since I'll assume like many other publications, this author just took a quick read on other competitors news-sites, reformulated/rewrote what the original article said in the authors own words, without doing a lot of the actual and independent research needed for the republication. Instead of just just linking the news article, assuming they did all the homework for you and as well as speculating that they understood what happened in the investors' call, maybe next time, oh I don't know, source the actual call/slide show and generally the documentation this is based on? That'd be nice. It'd be even better if you did a little digging yourself and actually listened to the entire call and not just take what the link said at face value that based your opinion on this but that'd be asking too much. I'm not even going to get into how that link just took the two words "legacy platforms" from an entire quote and basically distorting what it meant and what was actually being talked about. No where at all in the entire conference implied that they were going to discontinue anything regarding this.

At worst, this is just some click-bait blog that tries to take credit for legitimate journalism. Even worse, with that user Seph under my comment, who provided an update on this for the author over a month ago, didn't even to bother or care to update this "article"; not even apologizing/deleting the original words since, for the most, is borderline fabrication.

Eh whatever. I know where not to click anymore. Drama and gossip sells so they can get people to read on their site I suppose~

Update?
http://venturebeat.com/2015/05/27/sony-clarifies-legacy-platform-statement-our-portable-business-will-be-continued/

Sony is now clarifying that label only applies to older models of the handheld.

“What Andy mentioned as ‘legacy platform’ was part of the write-off for PS Vita components for the first generation of the PS Vita, which is no longer available in the market,” a Sony spokesperson said in a statement provided to GamesBeat. “And he did not directly mean the current PS Vita and PS TV models, which are available in the market. Our portable business will be continued, and many users are now enjoying PlayStation 4 remote play features as well as original PS Vita game titles on PS Vita and PS TV.”

If you had any common sense you'd understand I comment on indie games, not the Vita. Wishful thinking.

I am curious though. What do you gain from being "right" about these little half assed predictions?

If you were on the Koalition.com a long time ago, I said the Vita would fail. No one called me any names, they just didn't think so.
