ok,but dbxv2 has BETTER game mechanics,and i would says that Xenoverse 1 is really SUCKS,so,its like a total remake of the first games

So why not just release an update or dlc and not a completly new game… literally the same game dam jews

I wouldn’t call it the same.

1) While the story is fairly similar (You’re a time patroler, people are messing up time, you have to stop them), there are some interesting twists. For starters, in the first game you only had to defeat a buffed-up version of the villain/character you’re fighting. In this, not only do you fight the main villain for the arc, but you also get to face one of the many movie villains. While characters like Broly just sort of come out of nowhere, having Cooler be with his brother fighting Goku on the dying planet Namek is a nice touch.

2) The HUB is immensely different from the first game. It’s bigger, you can fly, there’s more stuff to do, and the overall feel is great.

3) The game has far more customization, including with the story. In the first game, the only race that could “transform” without Kaioken would be the Saiyans. In the sequel, Humans, Namekians, Majins and even Frieza Race can “transform”. Humans get the Nimbus and Power Pole during battle, Namekians can become giant Namekians, Majins can become a different colored version of Kid Buu, and the Frieza Race has the ability to go “golden”. As well as this, the story changes based on whether or not you saved and uploaded your previous character. If you’ve played the first game, uploaded your character to the cloud, and set that character as the “Toki Toki City Hero”, that character would be a part of the story, including the ability to fight them. And there are different side-quests that only specific races can do which.

4) More characters to unlock, more mentors and more abilities.

5) Let’s be real here: Most game sequels are just the same game as the original but with better graphics.

I find that it is alot different although I just played about an hour before work this morning but it seems alot more of a faster pace for example it was super easy to get your combos up close to 40 hits I a sure with enough stamina alot more

Hi Ryu, good to see you around here. I definitely did play DBX1 (and loved it) and I definitely did play the Beta for 2. It felt very much the same to me so far, but as I said in the other comment I didn’t get much chance to fight against real players so I’m not sure how different that experience is. The missions I played felt almost exactly like the first game though.

I didn’t get much of a chance to fight other players 1 on 1 because it was hard to find people in the closed Beta.. But the A.I missions I played felt very much like the first game. I didn’t have to do much different to win.

I imagine things will get more difficult in the later missions, but there’s no way for me to experience that until I get the actual game. Hopefully when the Beta opens up to everyone this weekend I’ll be able to fight more real players.
