Aside from two channels, cable, that focus on game show reruns (one cool, on lousy), on broadcast tv, The PRice is Right and Let’s Make a Deal are two of the highest rated shows on daytime TV, in syndication, Wheel is in it’s 33rd, I think, year, Jeopardy, Family Feud, Millionaire, Celebrity Name game are on all over the place. And now ABC has built an entire evening, succesfully thus far, with remakes of Family Feud, $100,000 Pyramid and Match Game, all highly rated. If those ratings hold, the other networks will copycat.

For a game show fan, it’s great…except for Family Feud, which has turned family unfriendly.
