In reply to Sebastien. Also note that near the main crash site there are countless crates containing batteries, power cells, disinfected water, med kits, nutrient blocks, and more. Beware of the reaper leviathans and NEVER take a seamoth to the area as a reaper will kill the sub even if you are not in it. This is generally how i gather the resources to power my subs and tools very early game. I hope this helps and see you in the waters!

Instead of building a new SeaMoth every time, one can also stock up on powercells and just replace the cell when it’s drained.

With the latest patch, powercells can now be charged at a recharge station.

3- If such is the case, this has been changed (again). Confirmed last night; two tanks, one equipped – 105 Oxygen available. 🙂

3- With the recent patch, oxygen tanks can now be equipped and HAS tob e equipped to work, and you can only equip one, so making two of them is now a waste.
4- Cured fish might not go bad, but they reduce your H2O levels, so you need more water when you eat those. Always make Cooked Fish. unless you’Re going out for a long trip without fabricator access. Live fish don’t go bad so as long as you stay around your base, you can just keep them live. If you do plan on going on long trips, then and only then should you bring Cured Fish along. With a Still Suit, water should be less of an issue so you can afford it.

love this game, but haven’t played it in almost a year. Glad to know its still being worked on. And it still looks great.
