yeah that pisses me off….I wish more would appreciate P1/P2

If you’ve played the demo and seen the anime and all the recent trailers they had in the FFXV uncovered event last month then I don’t see how you can say FFXV is questionable. We’ve seen and experienced way more stuff in FFXV than P5, so it should be the other way around.

Looks can be deceiving. Plus going off of the previous persona titles I cant say P5 is going to be better than FFXV. Persona 3FES is hands down, no comparison my favorite video game yet… story wise. Gameplay, not even remotely close to Action RPG games like Kingdom which FFXV is essentially a copy of. The dungeon fights with turn based RPG is soooooo boring and gets old fast. But constant action never does. The social link system was great but apparently it’s going to be different in P5, so who’s to say it’ll be better or worse? Both games’ story is undoubtedly going to be good but which will be better? P4s story was alright and like I said P3’s is my favorite, but FF is well known for their stories and aside from the XIII trilogy it has always been top notch. I’ve already seen a bit of the story so far and I’m liking where it’s going despite the “boy band” controversy, which I couldn’t care less about tbh. Now content wise FFXV has Persona 5 beaten by a far cry. Once your done with P5s story what’s next? Nothing, you just start the story over again. But look at all the stuff you can do in FFXV, it’s literally mind blowing how much extra content will be in it. Being able to venture out of the main quest and do god knows what for God knows how long. I imagine the amount of content in FFXV will be well over $60 worth compared to P5. So to me there’s no doubt FFXV will be named RPG of the year and crowned GoTY too.

When it comes down to it. Persona 5 looks like the more solid JRPG experience. FFXV is still questionable.

It is a deft point. However, SE has had some really serious fumbles since the release of FFXII. XIII was panned, as were its sequels and the original release for XIV before we got the resounding success of Realm Reborn.

The PC rerelease of FFVII as well was seen as a major slap in the face. Though forgiven with the actual remake announcement, fans have not quite forgotten it.

On the other hand, with each Persona release – including the rereleases have gotten better each time. Even the fighting games got better, the dancing game was a hoot and Catherine was a weird and fun entry.

That doubt, along with the fact that the game comes out a full two weeks before FFXV does means it will be very, very stiff competition.
