Thank you for liking the review. I loved the use of X-24. I think it was a reflective moment, Logan has always fought his past. To have a final battle and how it ended, I think it symbolized him finally coming to peace with it. I honestly never even thought about Liev. It movie just didn't need it.

This is the first review I completely agree with, the performances from the main three were absolutely spot on.

As such a character driven film it holds up over the first two acts, the third act suffers in the extreme because the lack of a strong antagonist. I really wish that Richard E Grant had been given more, it seemed like there might have been in his scene with Stephen Merchant (who, I have to say, added a perfect touch of dryness) but it didn't really go anywhere.

BIG ASS SPOILER AHEAD

Question - how did you feel about the use of X-24? I feel like an opportunity to get Liev Schreiber to come back and close the circle was missed, even if it wouldn't have been exactly true to the comics his chemistry with Jackman is good and it would have played to the obsessive rivalry coming to an end (he was the one perfect thing about the execrable Origins: Wolverine film).
