As I said, I never watched very much of the show so it may very well be brilliant….I just didn’t glean that sense in the limited moments of the show I have seen.

That stuff doesn’t play too well with me, for the simple reason that the people making the jokes often times don’t understand or haven’t been impacted directly by the stuff they are supposedly joking about. Hard to be an effective jokester if the issues don’t really affect you directly.
