GameCube Anthology Book Breaks Goal to Compile History of Console

The legacy of Project Dolphin...

If you were playing games in the early 2000s, then chances are you heard about or owned a Nintendo GameCube. Despite a rock start and lifetime, the GameCube was home to many mondern classic Nintendo games that are still widely popular today. But there is a lot of deep history behind the console and how it came to be, which is what a new book from Geeks-Line Publishing is trying to compile in one place for GameCube fans. After reaching it’s kickstarter goal by more than double, the GameCube Anthology book is close to making that a reality.

The Kickstarter campaign for the GameCube Anthology is ending on January 12th, but has already met its required goal to complete the project. As of the time of this writing, the campaign has gathered more than $87,000 from supporters who are interested in the book, which shattered Geeks-Line Publishing’s original goal of $47,000 at the start of the campaign. Nearly 800 backers have openly supported the project, which includes perks that gave backers additional collectible materials besides the book itself.

According to the listing from Geeks-Line Publishing, what’s inside the book will more than satisfy kickstarter backers and other Nintendo GameCube fans. A combination of interviews about the console’s origins, a complete listing of software, hardware, GameCube-related collectibles, and more; as well as other supplemental material about the console are what will make this a must-own for GameCube enthusiast.
