As pointed out in the podcast, my faults with GT (AS A GT FAN), is the lack of progression. The transition between 4-5-6 was incredibly miniscule. Now, I hope that the move to next gen produces an advancement but I’m not holding my breath. Neither DriveClub nor GT area threat in the current forms.

PlayStation has nothing to do with my dislike of Drive Club.

On damage, I was defending GT mostly, as YOU said in the podcast how bad damage was in GT; as if Drive Club was better than the damage in Ataris Indy 500 racing game for the Atari 2600: A car crash meant nothing back then in the late 70s & Means Nothing today with Drive Club in 2014.

Drive Club brought nothing to racing, GT did, Forza is just the top of the food chain currently. Drive Club is no threat to Forza, GT is.

What? Assassin’s Creed? Even that wasn’t as big of a mess as Driveclub was.

Drive Club talked a lot of sh*t about Forza Motorsport 5 last October: Forza Motorsport 5 only has 200 cars, it’s “downgraded”, 1080p 60fps isn’t real or whatever, The Cloud AI isn’t real, bla bla bla. I could go on for days. Meanwhile, Drive was showing races against friggin Ghost Cars with someones picture on the bumper. I LMFAO!, and said Drive Club will be delayed, it was for a year.

Charles, you’re so off base with this, there isn’t enough room to write a Masters Thesis on the trash Drive Club actually is. So I’ll bullet point a few things:

No. I agreed that we didn’t get the promised free edition. “Franchise is tarnished.” Huh? I’m not even going to bother mentioning the first titles in new IPs that become franchises because YOU know better.

The solid part is debatable considering how it launched.

I never said Driveclub was a shit game. I said it’s a fucked up game. Big difference. The game may or may not be bad. I don’t know. However, the fact that there is still no PS+ edition (which was promised) and an online mode that barely works shows that it’s fucked up. It can be fixed though but at this point the damage is done. First impressions and all that.

Either of you care to tell me exactly when Driveclub went straight to being a shit game? Also, do you guys know what a “bad” game is? Legit asking.

Blame the developers, not the system. Driveclub isn’t a giant fuck up because it’s on PS4. It was developed badly. Blame the smith not the tools. You want a good example of a developer using the PS4 right? Sucker Punch with Second Son.

Look at Drive Club. All Drive Club does is talk. Exclusives are supposed to showcase your system. I just don’t see anything spectacular from any PS4 exclusive.
