30fps isn’t a stupid argument, as your framerate will stutter if it isn’t locked. 60fps is definitely noticed in Racing & fighting games.

The only stupid argument is 1080p. As you need Digital Foundry to tell you what’s native 1080p or not. However, the naked eye can tell if that multiplayer shooter, Racing game, or fighting game is 60fps or not.
