Who on the show has experience with PSNow? What’s the criteria to have a discussion about the VC? Number of games? Hours played? Etc.

You’re 100% free to express your thoughts and we appreciate them. I’m simply trying to wrap my head around the argument because you mentioned my name lol.

I’m sure the Virtual Console will be discussed once more people on the show have experience with it.

Does the Virtual console have flaws when compared to these others services? I wouldn’t know. It’s never discussed.

The criticism of PS Now started because Xbox’s BC reveal pointed out its flaws in absence of BC on PlayStation. Gamepass doesn’t have that glaring issue to face.

And why do you keep quoting “Let us know your thoughts” like someone told you to shut up? Is your question not being addressed by at least two people right now?

The 2 options for Xbox users can still be compared against each other.

Uh. Well. The key here is the PS Now exists alone while Xbox users have the option for both Gamepass and BC. Sony users don’t have the BC option. You’re asking for a balance of criticism for your own peace of mind when its completely unnecessary.

You can bring up anything you want. Or before the show say ‘i wanna talk about this’ You’re speaking like you guys never go off topic, lol, C’mon Gary. But if the topic is backwards compatibility that’s comparable to a Netflix-like service. That’s not exactly off topic.

You can basically apply eveything you’ve ever said when comparing PSNow to XB1’s BC and Game Pass. Try it.
Start with the episode ‘Red Dead Redemption backwards compatibility shows the value of XBox One’ When PSNow is brought up. Tell me that discussion couldn’t be applied to Game Pass instead of PSNow. Unless you guys specifically want to only talk about Microsoft versus Sony.

Why would I compare XB1 BC to XB1 Gamespass if that’s not what the conversation is about? I can’t bring up a point that has nothing to do with what the discussion is.

Also, I’m struggling to figure out why any of this matters? On the show I even said that PS Now adding PS4 games is a step in the right direction, meaning I now have a more positive stance on the service. I just hope it continues to improve that’s all.

You’ve compared (a Netflix-like service that’s also on PC) PSNow to XB1’s backwards compatibility. You’ve compared PSNow to Game Pass.
Yet, you’ve NEVER compared the XB1’s backwards compatibility to the XB1’s (Netflix-like service) Game Pass. Why? If PSNow is comparable to the XB1’s backwards compatibility then surely the XB1’s backwards compatibility can be compared to the XB1’s Game Pass.
*Couple this with you guys ignoring the Virtual Console in all this the BC talk. It LOOKS like you’re pitting Microsoft against Sony while consciously selecting to ignore Nintendo. OR, it’s all a wierd coincidence.

But I did bring up backwards compatibility this episode. I’ve always compared it to BC and Gamespass, my message has stayed consistent since before E3 bruh. Go back and listen to some of the episodes and you’ll hear I mention them both.

Why the change in tone/perspective ?

You didn’t compare it to BC this episode like you did EVERYTIME it was brought up in 2016. You never called it a Netflix-like service for gaming. It was ALWAYS in reference to competing with the XB1’s BC.

Game Pass launced June 1 2017. Obviously you weren’t talking about Game Pass prior to March 2017. SEEMS now (this year) you sound like me & others who consistently told you in 2016 “PSNow is not backwards compatibility”

Simply put. Just continue to talk the same way you did last year everytime BC was brought up. Be consistent.

The PS3 came out later in the UK than it did the US, so excuse me for being a foreigner.

I’ve compared PS Now to both Backwards compatibility AND gamespass. But why does this matter?

I agree with 2019 announcement release 2020.
