So far it looks like GAMERS won this gen and no one has lost. I mean, isn’t that really the case here? Just like last gen, gamers benefited and the publishers, MS, SONY and Nintendo, were all successful. Whenever anyone says that a company who is selling consoles and games in the millions is losing, I question their logic and put them in the fanboy pool.

Yep Aaron is spot on. That bubble. People on this site, n4g, neogaf, etc are in the EXTREME minority. People that buy those franchises don’t frequent these type of sites or really engaged in gaming culture beyond what they currently own. The people that say they want new IPs arent the people that are buying these yearly franchises en mass.

In the same podcast Charles mentioned people he knows that are ignorant of the fact that SW Battlefront dropped on both systems. Michael A you just need to stop expecting people to be informed or make decisions based on logic.
