I’m looking forward to something with the Norse mythology to but I was only pointing out that more can be done in Greek mythology if they wanted to.

Yeah but that was a handheld prequel and a non main entry title and involved Kratos’s brother which was already teased about in the 1st game. People expect more from the mainline games which is 1 reason many disliked Ascension. With that being said I hear Ghost of Sparta is one of the best in the series. Personally I would prefer a new character and his or her story in this Norse Mythology.

If you haven’t already you should play God of War: Ghost of Sparta. One of the best God of War games and with no major Gods. Proves it can be done.

Kratos and the other greek gods took care of them already.

To me it don’t matter as long the game fun and enjoyable I will be pleased. I enjoy the multi-player of ascension maybe because I miss power stone.

Jaffe already stated his original plan was for Kratos to conquer all the different gods from the different mythologies.

But not ones people care about.

Because he killed all the major gods and even the grand daddy of them all Zeus. What other Greek god can top Zeus as the final boss for Kratos to defeat in Greek Mythology.

Stop saying KRATOS as if to say ” the god of war” title can be given to whomever so long their in different mythologies. This rumor is the result of the horrible story arc Santa Monica took. I wonder how Jaffe would of handled the story🙁.

There are dozens more Gods in Greek mythology than the handful that Kratos killed. There is more they can do.

Dude Santa Monica is doing this because they have no more story options of Kratos in Greek Mythology. He pretty much killed all the gods and nobody cares about a prequel as evidence with the reception of Ascension.

Wow. I guess story means nothing to people anymore. So lets neglect the fact that this is clearly because they had a shit character and the story path they ended up with left them with no option but to move on.

Yeah you can. I hope its a new character and Santa Monica is just using Kratos as a placeholder or if it is Kratos, then I hope they pull a Zelda in which Link is different but still similar but with Kratos.
