Interesting point. I do have to say that RDR was very high up on the “we want BC list” since backwards compatibility was announced, so I think a lot of the desire for the game was shown already. It just so happens that we are also in the middle of summer which is known for not having very many games.

I agree with point two 100%. Aside from The Witcher 3, (and while I love the game, this is still a stretch) there hasn’t really been much of a “next-gen” experience that we were promised with these new consoles.

BC for the Neo would be interesting. Hadn’t thought of that at all. They are kind of following each other around aren’t they?

That was a limited time deal price but it was a good deal if you like playing older games and have a vita to play anywhere with a good signal.

Why does it matter so much what is in the title? Co-op gives equal time to Sony/MS.

I wouldnt be surprised if backward compatibility was announced for Neo. Sony and MS are following each other around in circles with their tech copying whatever seems to be hot while remaining on that paper chase.

can you tell me how $99 for a year serviice that offers you 250games is not reasonably priced? red dead cost $7.50 how many of those games can you buy for $99? do the math. psnow price strategy is perfect. monthly and yearly vs all,. it beats gamefly/the old school blockbusters prices/ and red box price.. redbox is $1 per day.. there are 30 days in a month. do the math,, psnow is $19.99 per month for 1 game . can you guys please do a show on the value of psnow vs what msoft is doing, people are rebuying red dead or buying it now for the first time, that is why its 6000% up. someone is lying to us when they say back compat is for people who already own the game,

It might be more popular this gen than it was the last. I know there were tons of people who didn’t enjoy that game as much. It’s probably the least liked GTA game.

To answer the first question, sure we would do a show about that but putting it in the title all depends on if that is the major news topic for that week. As we said in the past, these titles are related to hot topics at the time. Red Dead Redemption was the main story last week starting with the backwards compatibility announcement and leading up to the fact that Amazon sales for the product spiked thus in our minds it only made sense to make that the main taking point lol

As for the backwards compatible last gen question, I don’t recall going back to play original Xbox or ps2 games mainly because the current gen at that time was better. I even would say that I prefer last gen over this gen now still because there were a lot of new iPs that I enjoyed ( Bioshock, Mass Effect, etc.) but we will see if my opinion changes. Games have been getting better overall so it’s likely but I’m not ready to say this generation is better than last gen yet lol

Wouldn’t those same people most likely already have PS3’s? Everyone I know with PS3 games have PS3’s.

He’s right. The PS4 has no backwards compatability. PS Now is a game streaming service accessible by devices other than a PS4. It’s the Netflix for video games.
