This news caused many within the gaming community (across social media and other gaming publications) to question just how many quality exclusives have left for 2016. The gaming community raised the question, so I decided to add it on our agenda so that we (and you guys) could share our thoughts on it…. It’s that simple. The better question is, would you comment this much if the question wasn’t asked? We’ve had episodes where we have great discussions about topics unrelated to console sales and exclusives, but when we do we never get the pleasure of hearing from you or some of the other commenters around here. So that’s exactly why we choose to raise the questions that get people talking, because we want to spark conversations with our audience.

I just don’t believe SOME of these titles/topics are from news or a conversation. I believe they’re literally made up.

Without having an agenda. How does someone ask, “Is it looking bad for _____ this fall in terms of software?” and a VIDEO GAME SITE EDITOR OR CONTRIBUTOR doesn’t say. ‘I’m not sure, let me google it”? Once you google, you find out the company you just asked that question about has more software then it’s competition, But you still pose the SAME question. And the person who originally asked the question DOESN’T even attempt to (nor does the VIDEO GAME SITE) ask the same question about said companies competition who has LESS sofware.

Why bring up fall in regards to a company who rarely does big fall releasess? Don’t sales show winter/spring releases have been doing just fine for YEARS?

The game looks good. Will everyone plan to pick it up? I have no idea, but I will say there are alot of games out this year so it’s a guarantee that some games will get overlooked as they do every year.

I see your point and i’ll respond to all these questions in order.

1) Sure this quote could easily apply to Nintendo and Microsoft but the news story was related to Gravity Rush 2 thus Gary asked the specific question about how Sony’s lineup is looking this fall. As we have said many times on these shows, the titles and topics are based on current news stories so obviously this was something that was asked. The particular title of these episode is about PlayStation VR so i’m confused why the Sony Lineup point was even brought up as a title when it clearly isn’t lol

2) Pretty much the same response as the above statement.

3)Once again Gravity Rush was the game that got delayed. You could say Microsoft doesn’t have a lineup this fall and be proven wrong because Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4 are all over advertisements and such now. Regardless of that, we still said third party games are the majority of whats out this fall. All of the PS4 games you mentioned surely have an audience but i’m also more than certain that the bigger titles like Battlefield and Call of Duty will get the majority or sales and attention this fall as they do every year. Final Fantasy XV will also get a ton of attention as well. Sure the other games you mentioned will get attention but the thing is there are too many games and as a result some games will get passed over and played at a later time. This is of course my opinion but it’s also not out of question to say this is a fact.

4) Not every fact is based on personal preference but you miss the point that this is an opinion show as we say every week lol We aren’t experts in the sense where we know every detail about how well a game will sell or flop and just like a site like IGN most stuff is opinion based. I also think you missed the main topic of the show which was on PlayStation VR not the Sony fall lineup lol As i said everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I would at least hope y’all are listening to the shows in full before coming after us in the comments section lol

I’m a little confused with this response. Where in this particular show title does it say “Is it looking bad for Sony this fall in terms of software?” The title of this episode clearly states Is PSVR The Must Own Product This Holiday Season? This title is in no way a panic move and neither a good or bad thing but rather a question lol I think you guys are reading a little too into these show titles and should actually listen to the episode before sharing your thoughts lol
