I didn’t realize Omega Force made so many games, some on there are quite good as well like Hyrule Warriors and DQ Heroes but way too many dynasty and samurai warrior games like you said. AOT, DQ Heroes 2 and Toukiden 2 are all great ways for the studio to diversify there lineup. Here’s hoping AOT will be a good game and based on footage so far it is definitely possible.

Ya, i agree square has no idea where people from last gen are going to go, but why don’t they put the remakes on xbox one also? New people to the series and console only gamers, who own xbox 360 only, missed out on a lot of the games. So putting the game out on xbox one makes no sense to me unless there is a movie like mass effect 2 on ps3 had to explain whats happening, even then playing the game is so much better. If they think there is sales potential in Kingdom hearts 3 on xbox, then they should support the series better.

Omega Force is one of the most underrated developers in the industry. Look at this body of work: http://koei.wikia.com/wiki/Omega_Force Attack On Titan gives them a chance to break away from the Samurai/Dynasty type of games.

MGSV on Xbox but no MGS4. You never know who’s buying what system. You can’t assume that owners of PS3 are sticking with Playstation brand etc. Best thing to do is make it multiplat. This is what happened with KH3. More system availability, more money.

Yeah, Devils 3rd may be some BS, I don’t know yet. However, the team that made Ninja Gaiden 3 is behind Nioh; that’s not good.

Having Itagaki doesn’t automatically = badass just look at what happened with his latest game Devil’s Third.

Also, Rikusons reactions were priceless. That made the show worth my listen.

Nioh may be Baddass; one problem, Tomonobu Itagaki isn’t there. The fighter looks like Ninja Gaidens dad.

Nioh looks to be better than Bloodborne for sure.

Yup the AOT game is looking good I hope it has online multiplayer in which you form a squad of say 4 and hunt down titans. Also Dragon Quest Heroes 1 arrives on the PS4 next month but unlike Japan in which DQ Heroes 1 came out on PS3 & PS4 it will be a PS4 only game in the West.

Yup Sony announced it at last years PSX that Yakuza 5 was one of most requested titles in their #buildthelist campaign so they are footing the bill for an english translation to finally arrive in the West. The only catch is it is digital only and for PS3 but a Western digital release is better than no release at all. Sony is also currently offering a discount on the game for those who preorder the game now on PSN so you can get the game for $39 instead of $59. Hopefully if it sells well Sony will work out a deal with Sega to publish more Yakuza games in the West the same way they worked out a deal with Activision to be the publisher of Destiny and COD:BO3 in Japan.
