In reply to Gority. Yup most players just bought the $40 expansion via PSN, which is it was ranked #1 for September PSN sellers. September was also Sony's biggest month ever for digital sales in the history of PSN.

Regarding Destiny…. They said the $500 million is for the franchise, not for the initial game.

The main reason it is successful is the social side. It definitely was a grind fest, and story was shit. But, TTK is a lot different. You guys have some misconceptions regarding how Destiny is now based on how it was when it launched. When people talk about WoW, they don’t talk about how it was in vanilla WoW, they talk about how it is now.
