Copyright shit in general is crazy. A few months ago, Family Guy used a clip from YouTube that showed a cheat in an old basketball video game. The video had been on YT since like 2009. Guess what happened after that? Fox had the original video pulled because it violated copyrights. LMAO Can’t make this shit up!

I always wondered how some people (artists, designers etc..) are able to sell their works even if it’s based on an intellectual property. It’s also upsetting to know that people so openly steal peoples artwork without crediting.

I remember the story of the Streets of Rage remake, where dude worked on it for like 8 years and even got the consent of Sega to create it. But then once he launched it officially they sent a cease and desist lol.
