1. Yes Microsoft publishing Rise of the Tomb Raider is most likely response to the SF5 news.
2.Definetly will be a system seller for the PS4.

And then come to find out Microsoft will publish the Tomb Raiders sequel moments after this tweet was posted, I find that to be funny as hell as a way of countering Sony exclusive deal with upcoming Capcom titles.

Knowing of all the “new” games coming to PS4 aka the steam collection, would it give you second thoughts to doing some PC gaming? Knowing that there are a lot of amazing games that the mainstream does not know about and hype up so console owners are in the dark of these titles for the most part.

1. I don’t think it will take any longer to come to PS4. If it wasn’t coming to PS4 MS would flat out say so like they did with Titanfall. This publishing announcement was definitely damage control after the SF5 megaton from Sony,

2. The fighting genre is not niche at all. SF is a big deal and will sell consoles.

3. I think Sony will have enough to show at both E3 and PSX. Remember, they often reveal new games at multiple conferences like the Tokyo Game Show, Gamescon, E3, Video Game Awards, and now PSX.

2) I was listening to the morning gamer which brings me to this question. Are fighting games a ‘niche genre?’. I completely disagree with the assertion. Do you remember how people brought the Super Nintendo for Street Fighter 2?! Do you think SF5 will be a system seller for the PS4? When playing fighting games, do you play with a pad (I’ve seen some EVO players play with a pad and they’re awesome!) or fight stick and who’s your favourite character from the SF series?

3) The PSX event is now an annual event. This is great given the success of how it went recently. Do you think Sony will have less presence at E3? Do you think they’ll save the ‘megatons’ for the PSX (thus increasing it’s relevance and importance) OR do you think this will put added pressure on them to compete against the like of Microsoft at E3 too?

Great way to push out half-devloped games while still asking for money and using the player base as unpaid testers. THEN it’s a crap shoot whether or not the game will actually be fixed/finished or if it will just stay in alpha because reasons. No thanks.
