Sup guys here are my weeks questions )

1# Do you guys think the people that have not yet played PT that Sony will one day re release it? Or that ship is long gone? PS i never played it.

2# to (Brett) I’m with you man on Dynasty warriors. That game was the shit back then on ps2 to me at least lol and Lu Bu was fucking hard to beat even in DW3. My strategy on beating him was Hit, Run, Save and repeat process till he dies. Anyways i couldn’t think of a question so i decided to bring this up because Brett said he loved DW. I think it was Brett lol

For someone struggling with the disconnect between eye and hand on a tablet with no screen, would purchasing an LCD tablet be worth it?

Question#2
Why have game development costs risen so much? The original Gears of War cost $12 million to make, a AAA game today costs over $100 million in many cases. I don’t believe the technology and graphics improved that much to make such a huge difference, so are there other economic factors at play?

Hello Tony & Throwdown crew

Here are my questions (It’s cool if you can’t answer all of them for the show)

1) If Dr Strange is to become part of the Avengers (I’m assuming he will) in the MCU, would that make him the most powerful Avenger? If not, who is the powerful in tha Avenger in the MCU?

2) Thanos is the main antagonist in the upcoming Infinity war movie. But after that, who do you think will come after Thanos? A part of me thinks it could be Dormammu given how powerful he is.

3) Why is the NES mini so popular? I appreciate Nostalgia and how people like to revisit their childhood but surely it’s not worth paying the amounts people are selling on eBAY? You can play any of those games on an emulator (not that I want to promote piracy) on PC.

4) As a follow on question, should Sony, Sega perhaps even Microsoft do a mini version of their old consoles (e.g PS1, OG Xbox, DreamCast) with fixed number of games on the system similar of the Nes Mini. Do you think it would sell? If so, what games would you like to play and on such a system?

5) In your opinion ‘PlayStation Now’ a success or failure? I’ve not heard anyone who has subscribed to the service.

6) No doubt backwards compatibility played a part in the Xbox One doing well in the NPD’s, do you think the next Sony Console (not the PRO) will be expected to be backwards compatible given the demand for it by consumers?

7) Is John C Riley admission in the new Kong trailer seem out of place? It derailed it for me and the humour element was unnecessary.There’s a time and a place for comedy and when its and when done correctly, it pays off but in this instance…it was annoying and horrible.

Listen Grim, I’ve been doing this a LOOOOONG TIME! A killer app has absolutely nothing to do with sales. It’s all about technology. Whether that killer app sells well or not is up to the consumers, but a killer app is defined before the game is even released to the public. Just because you bought a system for a game, doesn’t mean it’s a killer app. Just because a game sells a lot of copies, doesn’t mean it’s a killer app. And just because a game is a killer app, doesn’t mean it will sell well. Killer apps show off the hardware. Every system has them. Crysis was the PC killer app for years. Yes, MGS4 and FF7 were both killer apps. So was Ryse and Killzown Shadowfall and Super Mario 64. Shit, even Kameo was classified as a killer app back then. I’ve posted the definition for you, if you want to disregard what the true meaning of it is, that’s on you bro.

– Why did Nintendo produce so few units of the NES Mini? – they always do this to create demand.
– Do you play video games while doing the podcast? – i can’t focus if i do that.
– Have you ever skipped work/hanging with friends just to play video games? – nope
– What game franchise would you like to see Telltale Games do? – I dont like their games at all.
– Why don’t companies make systems backwards compatible? – Microsoft is doing that now. Nintendo has done it. Sony is the only one not doing it.
– Will the Scorpio really be that much different from the PS4 Pro? – oh fuck yeah. Scorpio will have 12-16gb of ram, a more powerful GPU and directx based.
– If you had the powers of a god, how would you end the Console Wars? – I would make every gamer think that they have to play every game. That’s how I think now.
– Is Halo no longer Microsoft’s “killer app”? – I think Forza Horizon and Gears are now their killer apps. But lets not sleep on Quantum Break. This game is AMAZING!
