Hey sup guys, sorry i didn’t post on last weeks episode of Throwdown your question. I recently gotten my first job at 21 lol
This isn’t really a question but kinda like advise/i don’t know

So far my first ever job is doing dish washing. I don’t mind it really but sometimes when im outside having a smoke break, people come up to me and say, “where did you work before this? I would just say, This is my first ever job and that im 21. Now i kinda feel like i already made a bad impression because they look at me like im lazy. “which was true lol” But now i really want to be good at doing this and not fuck up you know. I work in the kitchen and sometimes my side of doing my work is kinda like quiet but the other side when people are doing the cooking, they’re having Fun and listening to music and i kinda feel like im left out and feeling alone. And also do you guys ever feel like you already pissed somebody off at work even though you don’t know WHAT THE FUCK YOU DID WRONG? I said hello to this one big guy at work yesterday “TWICE” and he just kept looking at me while he was walking away? Shit like that gives me anxiety. I don’t know i shouldn’t really care because By the time i get home im gonna plug in some games and start playing them and its my favorite part of the day. So far my goals are, Get a job and get my GED. I hope that’s not all but they’re the most important. Anyways sorry about ranting about my life for a little bit there lol. I’ll send my questions in next week bros.

Question#1
Are movie critics generally harsher than game critics?

So I never really pay much attention to Metacritic (although I do use it to get a feeling how the “broad public” feels about games I like) but I payed even less attention to the movie section of it. Out of curiosity I went there today and was kinda surprised that John Wick 2, a movie I heard a lot of good things about, only has a 70 score. So I browsed the site a bit and found out that all the movies that are out now have extremly low scores….in video game score terms. There is only one movie out that has a score above 75 which, let’s be honest, is not a great score if you think in video game score terms.

What if the Internet was a Video Game?

If you turned the internet into a video game, what exactly would that look like? What genre would it be? How would the combat system work? Would there even be a win condition? Would there even be objectives or goals at all??

What gaming sins have you committed?

Cheated in a game? Preordered a flop? Sold your system? Or worse yet, bought a system for resale? I’m sure all of us have sinned at least once, right?

To explain what I meant about Adam not understanding Boost mode is, you are never going to get a pop up that says this does X on this game. It’s just going to be an increased or more stable framerate. You CAN get that with Pro patches, because it enables more features. Boost mode just makes things run smoother. You do get that on some Pro patches like Ratchet & Clank, and that’s a fair request because some games don’t do that. But there’s no way old games can notice the improvement without patches and say, the game does X now for boost.
